Follow these steps to clean and sanitize your mandrel bit:

• Step #1
  Remove the sanding band from your mandrel. A new sanding band must be used with every client or every couple of uses if you are using it on yourself at home.
• Step #2
  Clean your mandrel with warm water and soap to remove any dust.
• Step #3
  Soak your bits in a liquid disinfectant or babicide for the amount of time marked on the label to disinfect them.
• Step #4
  Dry your drill bits completely and store away.
