Here, we re-create this black and white swirl nail look in four easy steps using the game-changing Kiara Sky Gel Art stripers.
STEP 1: Prep
Every great look begins by prepping your nails! Prep ensures you'll have a long-lasting set for weeks. Make sure your nails are clean and dry before applying any polish. If you're using gel extension tips, use a buffing block or a sanding bit on your nail drill to promote adhesion for your polish.
STEP 2: Back to Basics
Moving on to your base coat! This is the color that will serve as the foundation of your nail design. (If you can't decide on a cover color, consider checking out 21 Nude Color Nails We Absolutely Adore.) For this tutorial, we decided to use "Lunar or Later". Once you're finished applying your cover color, cure for 30 seconds.
STEP 3: Begin Your Swirls
Time to create your designs! Grab your Gel Art in "Negative Space" and begin creating curved, swirling lines, with plenty of space in between them. This will allow for room of the second color later.
Cure for 30 seconds and follow up with "White Canvas", accenting your previous shapes with the white gel. You can trace the outlines of your previous shapes, or create white contours within them- the choice is up to you!
Once you're satisfied with your design, cure for another 30 seconds.
STEP 4: Seal Your Swirls!
And just like that, we're already finished! Grab your Non-Wipe Top Coat and apply to protect your design and give your nails a clean, glossy finish. Cure for 30 seconds, and your look is locked!
